Services We Provide
Metal Health
Community Based Rehabilitation Services concentrate on enhancing the quality of life for persons with mental illness through rehabilitation strategies, equal opportunities and social inclusion. Community Based Rehabilitation Services support the full participation of individuals living with mental illness and meeting their needs within their homes and communities. Strategies are skill-development based that target skill deficits and functional limitations.
Case management serves as a means for achieving client wellness and autonomy through advocacy, communication, education, identification of service resources and service facilitation. The case manager helps identify appropriate providers and facilities throughout the continuum of services, while ensuring that available resources are being used in a timely and cost-effective manner in order to obtain optimum value for both the client and the reimbursement source. Case management services are best offered in a climate that allows direct communication between the case manager, the client, and appropriate service personnel, in order to optimize the outcome for all concerned.
Partial care is an intensive, nonresidential, therapeutic outpatient treatment program that helps development of social, communication, education and basic living skills training. The program provides clinical treatment services in a stable and safe environment to practice newly developed skills taught in the partial care groups.
Psychotherapy is a type of mental health treatment that involves talking with a licensed mental health professional to help identify and change troubling thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Psychotherapy can help eliminate or control troubling symptoms so a person can function better and can increase well-being and healing.
Problems addressed in psychotherapy include difficulties in coping with daily life; the impact of trauma, medical illness or loss, and mental disorders such as depression or anxiety. There are several different types of psychotherapy and some types may work better with certain problems or issues. Psychotherapy is unique to the individual. Psychotherapy may be used in combination with medication or other therapies.
Peer support programs provide an opportunity for consumers who have achieved significant recovery to assist others in their recovery journeys. Peer specialists model recovery, teach skills and offer supports to help people experiencing mental health challenges lead meaningful lives in the community. Peer specialists promote recovery; enhance hope and social networking through role modeling and activation; and supplement existing treatment with education, empowerment, and aid in system navigation.
